Job summary

KAISER PERMANENTE is seeking a Per Diem Spine Dysfunctions Physical Therapist in Lancaster, CA. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement PT plans of care, and coordinate with a care team to manage spine-related dysfunctions.

Responsibilities include administering modalities, prescribing exercise programs, and documenting care per state and group guidelines. CA licensure and BLS are required; per diem scheduling may include varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited PT training program with a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in California or eligible applicant with CA license within 4 months.
• National Provider Identifier required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and interprets examination findings to determine dysfunction and restore mobility.
• Establishes plan of care to achieve goals based on age and medical history.
• Administers modalities and exercise programs as prescribed.
• Demonstrates clinical reasoning in assessing patient condition throughout therapy.
• Reassesses signs and symptoms to determine treatment effectiveness and modify goals.
• Coordinates treatment and participates in discharge planning with health care staff.
• Provides patient and family education and supports spine care visits with other providers.
