Qualifikationen

• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology per ASHA.
• Six months minimum experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Current and unrestricted license to practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate, direct and provide speech-language pathology services in home or facility settings.
• Participate in development and periodic review of the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care.
• Assess and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing; administer and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Observe, record and report changes in patient condition to supervisor/physician.
• Provide instruction and training to patients and families in communication strategies.
• Maintain and submit documentation; prepare reports and care plans as required.
• Participate in care coordination and discharge planning.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and company policy.
