Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist in Milford, MA for per diem day shifts. The role assesses and treats communication and swallowing disorders, develops treatment plans, and leads in education for patients and families.

Responsibilities include diagnostic evaluations, individual and group therapy, and home program design. Certification with ASHA and a MA license are required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Pathology required.
• Current MA Speech Pathology license required.
• ASHA membership preferred or certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Conducts diagnostic evaluations of communication disorders.
• Provides remedial treatment for adults with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Recommends and implements augmentative communication methods.
• Provides information about communication disorders to patients and families.
• Designs home programs and activities for carryover of therapy.
