Job summary

CBH Care in Rutherford, NJ is seeking a Per-Diem staff member to provide daily supervision and supportive counseling to consumers. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living and educating on prescribed medications, with observation of self-administration.

You will help organize social, recreational, and therapeutic activities, utilizing crisis intervention skills as required, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.

Qualifications

• BSW in social work or related BA/BS degree required.
• Two years of experience if BA in unrelated field or AA in related field.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license.
• Prior experience in supervision and medication education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and supportive counseling to consumers.
• Assist consumers with activities of daily living.
• Observe and educate on prescribed medications as self-administered.
• Facilitate social, recreational, and therapeutic activities; utilize crisis intervention as required.
