Job summary

Compcare in Rutherford, New Jersey, seeks dedicated staff to supervise and support consumers in daily living activities.

You will help with medication education, run social and therapeutic activities, and apply crisis intervention as needed. Various shifts include night hours, reflecting a nonprofit mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level qualifications in social work or related fields as listed.
• Two years of experience required for BA in unrelated field or for AA in related field.
• A valid New Jersey driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision, supportive counseling, and assistance with daily living skills.
• Observe self-administration of prescribed medications and provide daily medication education.
• Facilitate social, recreational, and therapeutic activities with consumers.
• Utilize crisis intervention skills as required.

Pay
