RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) for the Same Day Surgery department in Hamilton, NJ. The role requires an active NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS, and 1-2 years of acute care experience. ASN or Nursing diploma is required; BSN is strongly preferred, with completion within five years of hire.

Per diem day shift with on-call required. You will join a collaborative team, document in EPIC, participate in rounds, and support safe patient care while pursuing

The Registered Nurse is expected to work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of safe and high-quality patient care in the Same Day Surgery Department. • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification, ACLS and PALS. ASN or Nursing diploma required. If a candidate possesses ASN or Nursing diploma, they must agree to complete BSN within five years of the hire date. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. 1-2 years experience required.
