Job summary

Granite Recovery Center in New Hampshire is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to care for our patients in a residential detox and treatment setting. Responsibilities include admission procedures, TB testing, medication management, withdrawal monitoring, and care documentation.

Requirements include NH RN license, CPR/First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens, and NH background checks; detox/med-surge experience is preferred. teamwork and compassionate care are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Hampshire required.
• CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications required.
• Must pass NH criminal background and driving record checks.
• Prefer 1 year of detox, emergency, or med-surge nursing experience.
• Knowledge of substance withdrawal signs and pharmacology preferred.
• Strong customer service, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete admissions procedures and related paperwork.
• Administer TB skin tests and manage medication per physician orders.
• Document nursing assessments and care plans in patient charts.
• Provide direct nursing care and monitor withdrawal and condition changes.
• Maintain safe, hygienic work environment and complete required documentation.
• Coordinate with in-house and external professionals for comprehensive care.
