Job summary

Granite Recovery Centers, LLC. is seeking a per diem night Registered Nurse to care for patients in our residential detox facility. You will perform admissions, administer medications, monitor withdrawal, and provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Nursing Director.

The role requires NH RN licensure, CPR/First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens certifications, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior detox or med-surge experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted RN license in New Hampshire.
• CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications required.
• Pass NH criminal background and driving record checks.
• Detox, emergency, or med-surge nursing experience preferred (1 year).
• Knowledge of substance withdrawal signs and medical detoxification is helpful.
• Strong customer service, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete admission procedures, including paperwork orientation and urinalysis as needed.
• Search belongings on admission and dispose of forbidden items appropriately.
• Administer and read tuberculosis skin tests and document results.
• Maintain complete and accurate medication administration records.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise technicians on shift.
• Monitor for intoxication/withdrawal signs; respond to crises promptly.
• Provide detoxification unit evaluation and withdrawal management under supervision.
• Develop and update treatment plans with patients and care teams.
• Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
• Coordinate with in-house and outside professionals for comprehensive care.
• Ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and healthcare procedures.
