Job summary

Granite Recovery Center is seeking a night Registered Nurse to care for our patients in our residential facility. You will perform admission procedures, monitor urinalysis collection and provide direct nursing care in a detox setting under supervision.

The role requires an unrestricted NH RN license, CPR/First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential; we offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted NH RN license.
• Current CPR, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications.
• Must pass NH criminal background and driving record checks.
• Prefer 1 year detox or med-surge nursing experience.
• Knowledge of substance intoxication and withdrawal signs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete admission procedures and paperwork.
• Search belongings and dispose of forbidden items.
• Administer and read TB tests.
• Document nursing assessments, plans and orders.
• Provide direct care to residents in detox unit.
• Monitor for intoxication/withdrawal signs.
• Provide monitored evaluation and withdrawal management under supervision.
• Maintain hygienic and safe work environment.
• Update Medication Administration Records.
• Manage and administer medication as ordered.
• Direct and supervise technicians on shift.
• Develop treatment plans with residents.
• Provide emotional support and counseling.
• Consult with in-house and outside professionals.
• Provide referrals for identified needs.
• Maintain professional boundaries with clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
