Job summary

Regent Surgical Health's Integrated Surgical Center of AZ is seeking an RN for PreOp/PACU care on a per diem basis. You will prepare patients for surgery, monitor vital signs, administer pre-operative meds, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the state, and a high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the appropriate state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and prepare patients for surgery, including airway assessment and IV fluids as needed.
• Explain procedures to patients and families and obtain informed consent as required.
• Monitor vitals intra- and post-operatively and manage pain and comfort.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and communicate with surgical teams.
