Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for Preop/PACU at the Mainland Campus. This per diem Tier B role involves collaborating with physicians and the care team to deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, planning, interventions and evaluation, with mandatory ACLS, ATCN/TNCC, PALS/ENPC within stated timeframes. Strong leadership and ongoing professional development are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey or current multi state license required.
• American Heart Association BLS required upon hire or transfer.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• ATCN/TNCC required within 24 months of hire or transfer.
• PALS/ENPC attained within 12 months of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Apply the nursing process across inpatient, outpatient and perioperative settings.
• Perform and document assessments, planning, interventions and evaluations.
• Provide leadership and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

RN Licensure in New Jersey or multi-state license

BSN preferred
