First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU RN s for per diem hospital opportunities in the Hampton Roads area. You can pick up shifts on your schedule, with day and night options and the potential for daily or weekly pay.

Candidates must hold a Virginia RN license and meet PCU experience requirements, plus BLS and ACLS certifications. This role offers flexible per diem work across leading acute care hospitals.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA).
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and equipment for PCU patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control standards and patient-safety guidelines.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Adapt to different hospital environments and unit needs.

Salary Range: $56.25-$58.00/hour

Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Per Diem | Hampton Roads, VA | Days & Nights Available

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
