Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced PCU Registered Nurse for per diem hospital shifts in the Hampton Roads, VA area. You can select day or night shifts and build your own schedule.

Per diem nursing offers flexible hours with competitive pay and payroll options, including daily or weekly pay, to help you tailor your work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN License required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and equipment for PCU patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow hospital policies and infection-control standards.

Per Diem | Hampton Roads, VA | Days & Nights Available

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
