Job summary

Atlantic Health System's Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse for a per diem, pain management role. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor patients, administer medications, document care and respond to changes in patient conditions.

The position requires RN licensure, BLS, and a degree from an accredited nursing program, with BSN preferred. Prior experience in nursing and ACLS certification are desirable; this role schedules day shifts

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN degree preferred; ASN must complete BSN within five years; MSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate nursing records and reports.
• Administers medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assesses and plans patient nursing care with the healthcare team.
• Records vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
