Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Per Diem Varied Shift in the PACU at Chilton Medical Center, Pompton Plains, NJ. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to monitor patients, administer medications, educate families, and ensure documentation is accurate.

Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure, and BLS certification; ACLS preferred. A BSN is preferred, and ASN holders should complete BSN within five years.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• BSN preferred; ASN must complete BSN within five years.
• 1+ year PACU or Critical Care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, plans, and evaluates patient nursing care with the healthcare team.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
