Job summary

Atlantic Health System's Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, NJ, seeks a Registered Nurse for per diem Pain Management. You will collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to treat patients, monitor status, administer medications, and document care and outcomes.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Nursing Program, current RN licensure, and BLS certification; ACLS and BSN/advanced degrees are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• a.All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date.
• Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in Nursing or relevant area.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administrates medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
