RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an RN for the Outpatient Infusion unit at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. This per diem daytime role emphasizes patient assessments, chemo administration, and coordinated care with a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires NJ RN licensure, BLS, chemotherapy certification, and a strong commitment to evidence-based practice. Prior infusion experience and EPIC EMR familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing or Multistate RN license with NJ endorsement.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Prior patient care experience with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer safe, evidence-based medications and treatments.
• Partner with physicians and providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families for next care steps.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity and safety.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to improve care transitions.
• Contribute to a collaborative team with shared accountability.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and ladder opportunities.
