Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Outpatient Infusion at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. This per diem RN role requires strong clinical judgment, compassionate patient care, and teamwork within a high-volume infusion unit.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, safe medication administration, and coordination with the care team. NJ RN license, BSN preferred, and chemo experience are highly valued; EPIC EMR proficiency is desired.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing (or Multistate with NJ Endorsement).
• BSN strongly preferred with prior oncology/infusion experience.
• Minimum 3 years of related chemotherapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor clinical changes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely with strong clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers for coordinated care.
• Provide clear, compassionate patient and family education.
• Document accurately in EPIC to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team communications.
• Support ongoing professional growth and education opportunities.
