RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Outpatient Infusion Registered Nurse to join our Williamson Street location in Elizabeth, NJ. This full‑time, hourly role supports oncology and hematology infusion therapies in a ambulatory setting.

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, administer IV therapies, monitor responses, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care and outstanding patient experiences.

Qualifications

• ADN from an accredited nursing program.
• Active New Jersey RN license and BLS certification.
• BSN preferred; oncology/ambulatory care experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and evaluate treatment readiness.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, iron infusions, IV hydration and other IV therapies per protocols.
• Monitor patients for responses and adverse reactions; adjust care as needed.
• Educate patients and families about treatments, side effects, and follow‑up care.
• Provide telephone triage and coordinate timely clinical follow‑up with the team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments and patient education.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement plans of care.
