Job summary

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health is seeking experienced registered nurses for the O.R. Same Day Surgery program on a per diem basis. The busy 34-bed unit handles preop preparation, anesthesia support, and post-anesthesia recovery for a wide age range, from adolescence to adults.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing degree, NH licensure eligibility, and current BLS/ACLS. Experience in acute care is preferred, with a focus on safety and teamwork in a fast-paced perioperative setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program.
• RN licensure with New Hampshire eligibility.
• BLS and ACLS required upon hire.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice in a busy 34-bed Same Day Surgery Program with per diem shifts.
• Assist anesthesia and surgeon and ensure patient safety and documentation.
• Maintain equipment readiness and participate in team meetings and training.
• Adhere to policies, scheduling, and safety standards in perioperative care.
