Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a Per Diem OR support staff member to assist with daily operating room operations. The role includes cleaning the OR per AORN standards and supporting the RN with patient transfers and positioning on the surgical bed under supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least one year of healthcare or customer service experience. LNA/CMA/EMT experience is helpful but not required, and weekend call may be required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year of healthcare and/or customer service experience.
• LNA/CMA/EMT preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of the OR in accordance with AORN and regulatory standards.
• Assist the registered nurse in the lateral transfer of patients.
• Assist with positioning the patient on a surgical bed under the direction of an RN and in accordance with AORN standards.
