Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program approved by the nursing regulatory body.
• BSN preferred; ADN required.
• GPEN enrollment considered for Brown Health Medical Group; Diploma in Nursing considered for internal candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care using the nursing process.
• Administers medications and treatments per policy and orders.
• Documents care in the EHR.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Monitors patient condition and responds to changes.
• Educates patients and families as appropriate.
• Precepts new colleagues and students.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
