Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a per diem Medical/Telemetry RN to deliver safe, compassionate care on the Medical/Telemetry Unit. This role emphasizes patient-centered care and service excellence in a busy acute care setting.

Qualifications include graduating from an accredited RN program, Nevada RN license, current BLS and ACLS, and at least 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Current ACLS certificate.
• Must have one year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill. Integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients. Develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
