Job summary

Preferred Professional Services (PPS) Agency in CT is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses for per diem shifts across long-term care and rehabilitation facilities. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to deliver comprehensive nursing services.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Compassionate, patient-centered care approach.
• Experience in long-term care or rehab settings preferred.
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs and medical information.
• Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as needed.
• Oversee LPNs and CNAs in delivering quality care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for holistic care.
