Preferred Professional Services (PPS) Agency is offering per diem Licensed Practical Nurse positions in Connecticut. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans for residents in long-term care and rehab facilities.

Qualifications

• Valid state LPN license.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Interest in nursing needs of the aged and chronically ill.
• Strong clinical skills including administration of medications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical information
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Providing wound care and other nursing interventions as needed
• Supervising and supporting CNAs in delivering care
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols
