Job summary

Preferred Professional Services (PPS) Agency is recruiting registered nurses for per diem shifts in our Long-Term Care and Rehab Facilities in Connecticut. Urgently hiring for 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts to support residents' health, comfort, and well-being.

As an RN, you will assess patients, implement care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Valid state RN license.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Interest in nursing for aging and chronically ill patients.
• Strong clinical skills and critical thinking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs and medical information.
• Provide wound care and other nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for holistic care.
• Supervise and guide LPNs and CNAs in delivering care.
