Shasta Regional Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care in the Short Stay Unit, guiding patient and family teaching and coordinating with the medical team. The role emphasizes high standards of care, communication with physicians, and rapid response to changing conditions.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and preferred CC experience.

Competenze

Current and valid state RN License.
Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Mansioni

Delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
Provide direct patient care within scope of practice and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition, including monitoring results and symptoms and respond quickly to changes.
