Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Telemetry Unit in Northern California. You will deliver direct patient care using the nursing process, assess patient needs, and collaborate with the care team to maintain safety and quality.

Applicants must hold an RN license, BLS, ACLS within hire timeline, and have acute care experience; BSN preferred. Eligible for comprehensive benefits and a competitive total rewards package.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care within the scope of practice using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in Telemetry Unit.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
