Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift in our 226-bed acute care facility in Northern California. You will provide direct, safe patient care and support the nursing team in a fast-paced Medical/Surgical unit.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, with previous acute care and ventilator management experience preferred. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Direct patient care within the scope of practice and patient/family teaching.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and respond to changes quickly.
