Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a licensed pharmacist for per diem evening shifts to join our hospital-based pharmacy team. You will strive to ensure safe, evidence-based medication use and patient-centered care across multiple units.

The ideal candidate holds a current state Pharmacist license and has hospital pharmacy experience preferred. A BS in Pharmacy is required, PharmD preferred, and BLS/ACLS certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Current state Pharmacist license.
• Hospital pharmacy operations experience preferred.
• BS in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of the pharmacy department to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care and ensure patient safety across units.
• Provide pharmaceutical care to General Medicine, ICU, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.
