Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Antepartum/Postpartum care on a per diem, rotating basis. The role supports antepartum, postpartum and newborn care within a collaborative perinatal unit.

The RN will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, coordinate plans with the care team, and ensure high-quality family-centered care across shifts. Requires RN licensure and BLS, with 1–3 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred (BSN).
• 1–3 years related work experience required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing.
• American Heart Association – Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients and makes nursing judgments.
• Assess health care needs and formulate a care plan, implement and evaluate.
• Coordinate care and direct assistive personnel to ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered care.
