Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for ambulatory care on a per diem basis in Maine. The role emphasizes patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with physicians and the care team in a daytime, Monday–Friday schedule with no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current RN license; BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: One year of recent RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and families and develop care plans.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions in ambulatory care.
• Support physicians and practitioners in delivering care.
• Coordinate care and communicate with the care team.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinic setting.
