Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Dispenses prescription and OTC medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.
• Provides patient counseling regarding prescription and non-prescription medications, drug interactions, and proper usage.
• Reviews and verifies prescription orders to ensure accuracy, legality, and clinical appropriateness.
• Collaborates with prescribers to recommend therapeutic alternatives and resolve medication-related issues.
• Supports billing and insurance claim resolution processes, including prior authorizations and third-party communications.
