Black River Health is hiring a Full-Time Retail Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and ensure safe, accurate patient care at the Krohn Clinic campus in Wisconsin. You will handle prescription processing, patient communication, and medication packaging in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, state licensure within 6 months, and CPhT within 1 year, with preferred 1 year of retail/outpatient experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Registered as a pharmacy technician with the state board of pharmacy within 6 months.
• National pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) required within one year of hire.
• Minimum of one year of retail or outpatient pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Delivers exceptional customer service by anticipating needs and maintaining a positive, professional demeanor.
• Enters customer and prescription information accurately into the pharmacy management system
• Prepares, labels, and packages medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Processes prescription refills, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Responds to routine questions related to medications, insurance, and billing; elevate complex inquiries as appropriate.

• Full-Time; 80 hours per pay period, Day Shift Monday - Friday with every third Saturday rotation, Benefited
