Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or five-year B.S. in pharmacy from an accredited college.
• Current, unrestricted Wisconsin pharmacist license to practice.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and POS technologies.
• Strong clinical knowledge and counseling skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Dispenses prescription and OTC medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.
• Provides patient counseling regarding prescribed and non-prescription medications and drug interactions.
• Reviews and verifies prescription orders for accuracy, legality, and clinical appropriateness.
• Collaborates with prescribers and health professionals to resolve medication-related issues.
• Participates in the management of the 340B Drug Pricing Program per policy.
• Supports billing and insurance claim processes, including prior authorizations and third-party communications.

• Day Shift
• Location: Krohn Clinic campus
• Dispenses prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.
• Provides patient counseling regarding prescription and non-prescription medications, drug interactions, and proper usage.
• Reviews and verifies prescription orders to ensure accuracy, legality, and clinical appropriateness.
• Collaborates with prescribers and healthcare professionals to recommend therapeutic alternatives and resolve medication-related issues.
• Participates in the management of the 340B Drug Pricing Program in alignment with organizational policy.
• Supports billing and insurance claim resolution processes, including prior authorizations and third-party communications.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S) in a five-year pharmaceutical program or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Current and unrestricted license to practice as a Pharmacist in the State of Wisconsin
• Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and point-of-sale technologies
• Strong clinical knowledge and counseling skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
