Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Per Diem Respiratory Therapist to assess, plan, and implement respiratory care for patients in a clinical setting. You will conduct thorough assessments, establish care plans, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

You will educate patients and families, support transport of mechanically ventilated patients, and participate in discharge planning for respiratory-related equipment, while adhering to safety standards and hospital

Qualifications

• Assesses patients' respiratory care needs and plans treatments.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings.

• Provides patient/family education on disease management.

Responsibilities
