The ideal candidate holds an RCP license, NBRC-registered RT credentials, BCLS, and ACLS within 60 days; 2+ years of RCP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active State RCP license required.
• Current BCLS certificate at hire and through employment.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• Two years' experience as an RCP preferred.
• ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• NRP certificate preferred.
• PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• Associate or Bachelor degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document care with attention to age-specific needs.
• In the absence of a supervisor, may serve as Lead RCP and oversee the section during the shift.
