Job summary

Masonicare Wright Residence - Residential Apartments in Wallingford, CT is seeking a housekeeping aide on a per diem basis. You will perform routine cleaning of common areas and residents' homes following standard procedures to maintain a safe, clean living environment.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, following safety/infection control rules, and collaborating with staff to support residents with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a good safety driving record.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Ability to interact respectfully with residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas and residents’ homes following procedures.
• Transport supplies and operate vacuums and cleaning equipment.
• Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Follow safety and infection-control procedures.
• Interact respectfully with residents and staff.
• Attend departmental meetings and trainings.
• Follow OSHA guidelines for biohazard cleanup.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
