Job summary

Illingworth Research Group is seeking a per diem Research Nurse in Ogden, Utah to support clinical trials across multiple sites.

You will work with the RN team, manage trial visits, document data, and ensure protocol adherence, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

This role requires an active RN license with at least two years of post-qualification experience; GCP knowledge and venipuncture/ECG skills are desirable.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years' post qualification experience.
• Research and clinical trials experience with GCP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of research design and methodology desirable.
• Experience and knowledge of clinical nursing skills such as Venepuncture and ECG preferable.
• Ability to work autonomously with initiative in a team within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Good working knowledge of computer software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Fully conversant with the trial protocol, Case Report Forms (CRFs/eCRF), off-site manual (if applicable), supporting documents, procedures, and timelines to enable day to day running of the trial including all relevant SOPs.
• Communicate effectively with the RN project manager, site staff and the Principal Investigator to ensure a smooth flow of information.
• Maintain accurate documentation including electronic transfer of data as per SOPs and ensure subject confidentiality, GCP and data protection.
• Attend Site Initiation Visits (SIV) and other necessary meetings, including multidisciplinary project management and client-facing meetings.
• Coordinate trial visits on- and off-site with the RN team; ensure procedures are completed per protocol and data is collected accurately.
• Administer trial medication per protocol, manage storage, transfer, and accountability per SOPs; dispatch samples as required.
• Identify potentially eligible patients and assist with recruitment; provide information and support for patients at on- and off-site care.
• Report adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs) to the site team and RNPM, with follow-up as needed.
