Job summary

Illingworth Research Group in Danbury, Connecticut is seeking a registered nurse for a per diem research nurse role supporting clinical trials across phases. You will manage trial visits, administer medications per protocol, collect data, and ensure participant safety and data integrity in line with GCP.

You will work with the RN team and study staff, coordinate site activities, document findings, report adverse events, and assist with patient recruitment.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years' post qualification experience.
• Knowledge of research design and methodology desirable.
• Experience and knowledge of clinical nursing skills such as Venepuncture and ECG preferable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fully conversant with trial protocol, CRFs/eCRF, off-site manual and SOPs.
• Coordinate site activities with RN team and ensure data collection per protocol.
• Attend Site Initiation Visits and other necessary meetings.
• Administer trial medication per protocol and manage storage/transfer of meds.
• Process and dispatch samples and liaise with couriers as required.
• Identify potentially eligible patients and assist with recruitment for trials.
• Report adverse events (AEs) and SAEs to the RNPM and site team.
• Report misconduct or fraud as applicable.
