Job summary

Illingworth Research Group is seeking a Research Nurse (Per Diem) in Fort Wayne, IN. You will support trial activities, manage data per SOPs, and coordinate patient visits both on- and off-site.

Experience in GCP and nursing practice is required, with strong communication to PI and project teams. The role involves administering trial medications, ensuring compliance, and contributing to recruitment efforts while adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
• GCP certification and knowledge of research design desirable.
• Venepuncture and ECG experience preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day trial activities per protocol and SOPs.
• Communicate with project managers, site staff, and PI for smooth data flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data transfer per SOPs.
• Attend site initiation visits and client meetings as required.
• Coordinate site visits and ensure data collection accuracy.
• Administer trial medication and manage storage and transfer.
• Package and dispatch samples with courier coordination.
• Assist in identifying eligible patients and support recruitment.
• Report adverse events and follow-up as needed.
• Report misconduct or fraud to Illingworth and related parties.
