Job summary

Illingworth Research Group is seeking a Research Nurse (Per Diem) to support clinical trials in the Greater Portland, OR / Vancouver, WA area. You will work with RN team to conduct on- and off-site visits, collect data, and ensure protocol adherence while protecting patient safety.

Ideal candidates are registered nurses with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, GCP certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years' post qualification experience.
GCP certification and clinical trials experience.
Knowledge of research design and methodology desirable.
Venepuncture and ECG experience preferred.
Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Fully conversant with the trial protocol, CRFs/eCRF, off-site manual (if applicable), supporting documents, procedures, and timelines to enable day to day running of the trial including all relevant SOPs.
Communicate effectively with the RNPM, site staff and Principal Investigator to ensure smooth information flow.
Maintain accurate documentation and data transfer per SOPs while ensuring subject confidentiality and data protection.
Attend Site Initiation Visits and other required meetings.
Coordinate subject trial visits on- and off-site and ensure data collection per protocol.
Administer trial medication and manage storage/transfer per SOPs.
Package and dispatch samples with couriers per project requirements.
Identify potentially eligible patients and assist recruitment for trials.
Report adverse events to site team and RNPM; assist with follow-up as needed.
Report misconduct or fraud as required.
