Job summary

HAYWOOD is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during the tour of duty. You will ensure quality care in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, and support the Director of Nursing in maintaining compliant processes and documentation.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and prior long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid RN license in the state.
• Requires CPR certification.
• English language skills required for communication with residents, families and staff.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty.
• Assist in directing nursing services and coordinating care.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate nursing records and report to the DON/ADON as needed.
