Responsibilities

• Ensure sufficient nursing staffing levels to deliver quality resident care.
• Orient and train new employees and participate in ongoing training.
• Develop shift assignments and monitor performance to meet nursing standards.
• Communicate with ancillary departments and nursing staff at shift change about resident conditions.
• Maintain accurate resident documentation and charts for compliance and reimbursement.
