Job summary

Genacross Lutheran Services in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care in our skilled nursing community. You will act as a clinical leader, support Nursing Assistants, and work with a collaborative care team to keep residents safe, comfortable, and treated with dignity.

This per diem/PRN position requires an Ohio RN license and ideally 1+ year in long-term care; basic computer skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Current State of Ohio RN license
• One or more years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and monitor resident health and well-being.
• Perform assessments, evaluate changes in condition, and communicate care needs to physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Lead, supervise, and support STNAs to ensure quality resident care and positive outcomes.
• Coordinate resident admissions, physician orders, lab work, and other aspects of ongoing clinical care.
• Maintain accurate documentation, charting, and medical records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Promote a safe environment by following infection prevention, safety, and emergency response procedures.
