Job summary

Hire Introduction is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant for PRN/temporary assignments in Garland, TX. The RDA will support dentists, ensure sterile environments, take radiographs, and assist with patient care while maintaining records and managing patient flow.

The position requires Texas RDA licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and ongoing CE; bilingual skills are a plus. This is a per diem, not permanent, role with flexible scheduling across multiple practices.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Texas Registered Dental Assistant License and maintain renewal.
CPR BLS certification required.
Annual continuing education (CE) as required by state.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) as directed by the dentist.
Provide patients with instructions for oral care following procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and update them as necessary.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize efficiency.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
Ensure operatory is clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
Assist in dental emergencies and provide CPR/BLS as required.
Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and external partners; bilingual skills a plus.
