Qualifications

Schedule : Various based on business needs, primarily weekend help as needed 8:30am-5pm

What You’ll Do in This Role:

The Receptionist will act as the first point for inquiries and will respond and direct such inquiries in an efficient manner. All duties performed will be with an emphasis on the value of providing quality customer service to all residents, family members, team members, volunteers, visitors, and other service professionals.

Primary Responsibilities:

Keep Us Connected

  • Operate the phone system with ease, direct calls, make announcements, and assist in locating staff.
  • Maintain up-to-date directories for residents, staff extensions, emergency contacts, and key personnel.

Stay Organized & Helpful

  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail/packages for Independent Living—and ensure mail gets to Assisted Living too.
  • Assist with selling stamps, weighing packages, and helping residents with their mailing needs.

Provide Administrative Support

  • Help with light office tasks like filing, word processing, and special projects.
  • Manage carport and storage unit rentals, and support residents with placing work orders or booking WAVE transportation.

Create a Warm Welcome

  • Greet visitors, guests, and residents with a smile, offering directions and information as needed.
  • Interact kindly with residents and connect them with the right departments or team members.

What You’ll Need:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an administrative or fast-paced customer service capacity.
  • Associate degree in a clerical or business-related field preferred.
  • Computer skills, preferably with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe Acrobat.
