Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist in Rock Hill, SC to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under the radiologist's supervision. Requires AMA-approved Radiology Technology program completion and ARRT registration (or registry eligible within 1 year).

BLS preferred; one year direct patient care experience preferred. PRN/as-needed schedule; must meet state requirements for SC ARRT.

Qualifications

• Formal Radiology Technology program completed at AMA approved facility.
• ARRT registration required, or registry eligible within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification preferred; 1 year direct patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures as needed.
• Documents patient history on requisition submitted by physician.
• Verifies patient identity verbally and with proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Positions patients accurately and maintains required records.
