Job summary

Mission Regional Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist on a per diem basis to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with state and federal guidelines. The role includes serving as the primary contact for patients and clinical staff to ensure imaging needs are met and compliant with HFAP/TJC/local requirements.

Responsibilities include participation in PI/QC activities and ensuring prompt processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-R is required.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols and regulations.
• Functions as the first line interface with customers and meets imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
