Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• Experience: Three years in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory; STEMI experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: ACLS and BLS from AHA.
• Licenses/Certifications: California Fluoroscopy permit.
• Licenses/Certifications: CA Radiologic Technologist license (ARRT or equivalent).
• Licenses/Certifications: RCIS eligible within two years; RCIS exam within one year.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control on radiology imaging equipment and radiation protection.
• Assist physician in Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Catheterization procedures.
• Scrub, monitor, and circulate during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare equipment for procedures.
• Record, store and analyse data from interventional procedures.
• Provide ACLS interventions as needed during critical moments.
